The property features a compostable toilet, an outdoor shower, and an on-demand hot water system that turns on automatically when in use. Water is drawn directly from the lake into a holding tank using a 12-volt RV-style pump powered by its own solar panel and battery. Switches inside and outside the cabin control the flow to the kitchen sink and shower, allowing for easy use and efficient water management. Propane is used for both cooking and heating, keeping the cabin warm and functional even in cooler seasons. Both cabins are powered by a dedicated solar energy system with six panels mounted on the roof and an eight-battery power bank, ensuring reliable electricity without the need to be connected to the grid. Each cabin has surge-protected power strips for convenience, and when extra power is needed, a Predator® 5000-watt dual-fuel inverter generator provides backup capability with the option to run on either gasoline or propane.
